<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Demikianlah fitrah manusia, sama ada manusia biasa mahupun para Rasul, mereka tetap ingin hidup berteman dalam sebuah perkahwinan.
<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Hadis-hadis Rasulullah s.a.w juga banyak sekali anjuran supaya umat Islam berkahwin.
<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div align="justify" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">“Maka sembahlah Tuhan engkau dan berkorbanlah”.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="background-color: #fce5cd; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">“ Sesungguhnya solatku, sembelihanku, hidupku serta matiku hanyalah untuk Allah tuhan semesta alam”. ( al-An’am : 163)
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Islamically however it refers to the annual pilgrimage that Muslims make to Makkah with the intention of performing certain religious rites in accordance with the method prescribed by the Prophet Muhammad (saws).
<div align="left" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Hajj and its rites were first ordained by Allah in the time of the Prophet lbraaheem [Abraham] (AS) and he was the one who was entrusted by Allaah to build the Ka'ba - the House of Allah - along with his son Ismaa'eel [Ishmael] at Makkah. Allah described the Ka'ba and its building as follows:
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"And remember when We showed Ibraaheem the site of the [Sacred] House [saying]: Associate not anything [in worshipi with Me and purify My House for those who circumambulate it [i.e. perform tawaaf] and those who stand up for prayer and those who bow down and make prostration [in prayer etc.]."
[Surah Al-Hajj 22:26]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">After building the Ka'ba, Ibraaheem (AS) would come to Makkah to perform Hajj every year, and after his death, this practice was continued by his son. However, gradually with the passage of time, both the form and the goal of the Hajj rites were changed. As idolatry spread throughout Arabia, the Ka'ba lost its purity and idols were placed inside it. Its walls became covered with poems and paintings, including one of Jesus and his mother Maryam and eventually over 360 idols came to be placed around the Ka'ba.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">During the Hajj period itself, the atmosphere around the sacred precincts of the Ka'ba was like a circus. Men and women would go round the Ka'ba naked, arguing that they should present themselves before Allah in the same condition they were born. Their prayer became devoid of all sincere remembrance of Allaah and was instead reduced to a series of hand clapping, whistling and the blowing of horns. Even the talbeeyah [1] was distorted by them with the following additions: 'No one is Your partner except one who is permitted by you. You are his Master and the Master of what he possesses'.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Sacrifices were also made in the name of God. However, the blood of the sacrificed animals was poured onto the walls of the Ka'ba and the flesh was hung from pillars around the Ka'ba, in the belief that Allaah demanded the flesh and blood of these animals.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Singing, drinking, adultery and other acts of immorality was rife amongst the pilgrims and the poetry competitions, which were held, were a major part of the whole Hajj event. In these competitions, poets would praise the bravery and splendour of their own tribesmen and tell exaggerated tales of the cowardice and miserliness of other tribes. Competitions in generosity were also staged where the chief of each tribe would set up huge cauldrons and feed the pilgrims, only so that they could become well-known for their extreme generosity.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Thus the people had totally abandoned the teachings of their forefather and leader Ibraaheem (AS). The House that he had made pure for the worship of Allah alone, had been totally desecrated by the pagans and the rites which he had established were completely distorted by them. This sad state of affairs continued for nearly two and a half thousand years. But then after this long period, the time came for the supplication of Ibraaheem to be answered:
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall recite unto them your aayaat (verses) and instruct them in the book and the Wisdom and sanctify them. Verily you are the 'Azeezul-Hakeem [the All-Mighty, the All-Wise]."
[Surah Al-Baqarah 2:129]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Sure enough, a man by the name of Muhammad ibn 'Abdullaah (SAWS) was born in the very city that Ibraaheem (AS) had made this supplication centuries earlier. For twenty-three years, the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) spread the message of Tawheed [true monotheism] - the same message that Ibraaheem and alI the other Prophets came with - and established the law of Allaah upon the land. He expended every effort into making the word of Allaah supreme and his victory over falsehood culminated in the smashing of the idols inside the Ka'ba which once again became the universal centre for the worshippers of the one True God.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Not only did the Prophet rid the Ka'ba of all its impurities, but he also reinstated all the rites of Hajj which were established by Allaah's Permission, in the time of Ibraaheem (AS). Specific injunctions in the Qur'aan were revealed in order to eliminate all the false rites which had become rampant in the pre-Islamic period. All indecent and shameful acts were strictly banned in Allaah's statement:
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"There is to be no lewdness nor wrangles during Hajj."
[Surah al-Baqarah 2:197]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Competitions among poets in the exaltations of their forefathers and their tribesmen's' achievements were all stopped. Instead, Allaah told them:
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"And when you have completed your rites [of Hajj] then remember Allah as you remember your forefathers; nay with a more vigorous remembrance."
[Surah al-Baqarah 2:200]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Competitions in generosity were also prohibited. Of course, the feeding of the poor pilgrims was still encouraged as this was done in the time of Ibraaheem (AS) but Allah commanded that the slaughtering of the animals which was done for this purpose should be done seeking the pleasure of Allah rather than fame and the praise of the people. He said:
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"So mention the name of Allaah over these animals when they are drawn up in lines. Then, when they are drawn on their sides [after the slaughter], eat thereof and feed the beggar who does not ask, and the beggar who asks."
[Surah al-Hajj 22:36]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">As for the deplorable practice of spattering blood of the sacrificed animals on the walls of the Ka'ba and hanging their flesh on alters, then Allah clearly informed them that:
<blockquote style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is Taqwaa (piety) from you that reaches Him."
[Surah al-Hajj 22:37]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">The Prophet (SAWS) also put a stop to the practice of circling the Ka'ba in a state of nudity and the argument that the pagans put forward to justify this ritual was sharply rebutted in Allah's question:
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"Say: Who has forbidden the adornment [i.e. clothes] given by Allaah which He has produced for His Slaves?"
[Surah al-A'raaf 7:32]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Another custom which was prohibited through the Qur'aan was that of setting off for Hajj without taking any provisions for the journey. In the pre-Islamic period, some people who claimed to be mutawakkiloon (those having complete trust in Allaah) would travel to perform Hajj begging food the whole journey. They considered this form of behaviour a sign of piety and an indication of how much faith they had in Allaah. However Allah told mankind that to have sufficient provisions for the journey was one of the preconditions for making Hajj. He said:
<blockquote style="background-color: #d9ead3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"And take a provision [with you] for the journey, but the best provision is at-Taqwaa (piety)."
[Surah al-Baqarah 2:197]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">In this way, all the pre-Islamic practices, which were based in ignorance, were abolished and Hajj was once more made a model of piety, fear of Allah, purity, simplicity and austerity. Now, when the pilgrims reached the Ka'ba, they no longer found the carnivals and the frolic and frivolity that had once occupied the minds of the pilgrims there before. Now, there was the remembrance of Allah at every step and every action and every sacrifice was devoted to Him alone. It was this kind of Hajj that was worthy of the reward of paradise, as the Prophet (SAWS) said: "The reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing less than paradise." [2]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">May Allah grant us all the ability to visit His House and perform the Hajj in the manner of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). Aameen.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Abdullah bin Mubarak (seorang ulama hadith dari Khurasan) pernah berkata:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Jika Allah tidak membantu saya dengan perantaraan Abu Hanifah dan Sufian (dua ulama’ fiqh), nescaya aku sama sahaja seperti orang awam (yang tidak memahami hadith-hadith Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). [1]
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Sufian bin ‘Uyainah pula pernah berkata:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Orang yang pertama membantu saya dalam memahami hadith dan menjadikan saya seorang ahli hadith ialah Imam Abu Hanifah (seorang ulama’ fiqh). [2]
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Beliau ditanya: “Mengapa begitu?”
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Sufian bin ‘Uyainah pernah berkata:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Beliau menjawab:

<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Inilah sebenarnya maksud kata-kata Sufian bin ‘Uyainah. [7]
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Abdullah bin Mubarak pernah berkata mengenai fiqh Imam Abu Hanifah:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Jangan kamu katakan fiqh ini (mazhab Imam Abu Hanifah) merupakan pendapat beliau, tetapi katakanlah, ia (mazhab Abu Hanifah) merupakan tafsiran bagi hadith Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam. [8]
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal berkata:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal menjawab: “Tidak! [10]
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Imam as-Syafi’e pernah menegaskan:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Sheikhuna as-Syarif, al-Habib Yusuf al-Hasani pernah menyebut bahawa:
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Bukankah ia memudaratkan diri sendiri?
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Wallahu’alam.
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Written by Raja Ahmad Mukhlis.
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Nota Kaki
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[1] Kitab “Tibyiidh As-Shohafiyyah” m/s 16
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[2] Kitab “Jawahir Al-Mudhiyah” jilid 1 m/s 31
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[3] Ibn Hibban, muqoddimah Kitab “Al-Majruhin”
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[4] Ktab “Al-Intiqa’ fi Fadhail Al-A’immah Ath-Thalathah Al-Fuqoha’” m/s 27-28
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[5] Kitab “Tartib Al-Madarik” jilid 2 m/s 427
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[6] Imam ibn Abi Zaid Al-Qairawani, “Al-Jami’” m/s 118
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[7] Abu ‘Abbas Al-Wansyarishi “Al-Mi’yar Al-Mu’rab” jilid 12 m/s 314
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[8] Kitab “Manaqib Al-Muaffaq Al-Makki” m/s 234
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[9] Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah, “I’lamul Muaqi’iin”, jilid 2 m/s 252
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[10] Al-Faqih Shiekh Habib Ahmad Al-Kairanawi m/s 5, dipetik dari “I’lamul Muaqi’iin”
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[11] Ibid m/s 6 dipetik dari kitab “Al-Faqih wal Mutafaqqih” karangan Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi.
<div id="_mcePaste" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">[12] Ibid m/s 6, dipetik dari kitab “Tazyiin Al-Mamalik” karangan Imam As-Suyuti m/s 7-8
Aspenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349415814923605874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2001053712234978002.post-6092219957270245702010-10-21T18:08:00.000-07:002010-11-29T21:33:05.726-08:00Alhamdulillah....Syukur: VIVA PALESTINA Reach Ghaza

<div class="text" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">International convoy with humanitarian aid for Gaza "Lifeline" arrives today in the Egyptian port of el-Arish.
<div class="text" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Sebab

Al-Qamah bin Abdullah meriwayatkan hadis Rasulullah s.a.w yang bermaksud:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Life of Khadijah
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The first woman to follow the religion of Islam was Khadijah ul-Kubra'. Every Muslim knows who she was and what a role-model she was and continues to be. We also know that she was according to the Prophet (saw), one of the four greatest women from among the whole earth.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Khadijah was born in the year 555 C.E. (Christian era). Her parents were Khuwailid and Fatimah bint Zaidah. By the time she reached the age of forty she had attained quite a reputation for herself. She was known as a wealthy, noble, fine-natured business woman.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Khadijah heard about Mohammed's (saw) reputation for being an honest and upright young man. She sent him a proposal to ask him to handle some of her business affairs. On the return from one trip to Syria, he reported a profit that doubled that which anyone else had done for her. Needless to say, that impressed her greatly!

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Khadijah's satisfaction with her new employee was soon to turn into love. Despite their age difference of 15 years, she desired to marry him. She confided this desire to he friend, Nufaysah, who in turn approached Mohammed (saw). This confused him. How could such a noble woman, who had turned down the marriage proposals of the noblest and wealthiest Quraysh men, desire to marry him?! Mohammed uncle Abu Talib and Khadijah's uncle 'Umar ibn Asad sat down to arrange the completion of the marriage. Little did any of them know just what the future had in store for this new couple!

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Allah bestowed upon them six children. They were given two boys, Qasim and 'Abdullah, but neither survived infancy. They were also given four daughters, Zainab, Ruqaiyyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatimah.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Mohammed would often go to Mount Hira for meditation. On returning one day, Khadijah could see he was quite shaken and upset. She inquired about this and he told her what had happened. She found out that today had been unlike any other in that, today, he had been given revelations from God! He had thought that he was possessed and was going mad. Khadijah tried to console her terrified husband by saying:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">"Rejoice, O son of my uncle, and be of good heart. Surely by Him in whose hand is my soul, I have hope that you will be the prophet of this people. You have never done any wrong to anyone. You are kind to others and you help the poor. So Allah will not let you down."

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">He then asked for a blanket and she quickly fulfilled his request. Shortly thereafter, he fell asleep. when Mohammed woke, Khadijah took him to her cousin, Waraqah bin Nawfal. He was Christian and quite knowledgeable of the scriptures of the Torah and Bible. He confirmed Mohammed's prophethood and said:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">"This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out."

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Just a few months later Gabriel came again and ordered him to start warning the people. Khadijah supported him in this by financially supporting the family and his teaching. She was also content to raise the children and handle the family affairs so that he could preach.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">During the next 10 years, she proved herself to be a loving wife. She supported him when nobody else would. She consoled him when rough time hit them. She comforted and encouraged him when the Quraish did all they could to stop him from preaching. She remained the only wife of Mohammed until her death at the age of 65. She died on 10 Ramadan 620 C.E. in the 10th year of prophethood. Long after her death, Mohammed remembered and honored her often.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">There is a lesson in Khadijah's life. She accepted and started working for the religion of Islam after the first revelation. This not only made her the first Muslim but also a role-model for women today. She led the example of a good, loving wife. She also showed us how to forget the desires of this life and work only for the good of Islam. Khadijah truly was a righteous woman.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">
They were stressing that the crimes would increase against their holy places. Mahmoud Taqataqa, a witness, said that he awoke in the early morning, approximately 2:45 am, when he heard the settlers taking off the door of the mosque. He approached them asking the settlers to leave the area, but they forced him away at gunpoint at which time he went to other houses to awaken the other citizens of Beit Fajar.

ImageMahmoud, also said that the settlers had the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. They did not intervene nor did they try to stop the settlers form doing this heinous crime. He indicated that the Israeli occupation forces only stepped in when the citizens of the village approached the masque and started clashing with the settlers who had collected copies of the Quran and started to burn them in the center of the mosque.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, said that “there is nobody on the face of the universe who can justify this cowardly act, stressing the lake of words to describe this heinous crime on this house of God, stressing that is comes as part of the fierce attacks on the Palestinian territories.”

Hussein stressed that the focus of the attacks on religious monuments is contrary to religious laws and international norms, which prohibits attacks on holy sites and symbols of religion. He goes on to explain that this act shows the reality of this right wing israeli extremist government. The government cooperated with the setters goals and projects, they came to the site under the protection of the Israeli occupation.

The Sheikh Mohammed Hussein sent a letter to Arab leaders, in particularly to the Arab Monitoring Committee asking to take a strong position in support of the Palestinian people and their national authority and leadership, represented by the PLO. Calling on them not to leave the Palestinians alone in front of the arrogance of the occupation. Stressing that Palestinian land is sacred land and is therefore is entrusted to the care of Arabs and Muslims
wherever they are found.

The deputy governor of Bethlehem, Mohammed Taha Abu Ali, a member of the Revolutionary Council for the Fatah movement, has pointed out that this Israeli crime reflects the true face of the Israeli occupation, and confirming that the Palestinian leadership continues to follow the settlers attack on the ground under the occupation forces.

ImageAbu Alia, denounced these attacks and said that this can not be tolerated especially that the eyewitnesses confirmed that it happened under the watch of the Israeli army. He also stressed that it is the highest priority of the Palestinian National Authority to continue its support for the citizens of Palestine. and that such attacks can not terrorize the Palestinian people, but will only increase the legitimate national rights.

He is calling on the people of Beit Fajar to unit and reconstruct the mosque, which the settler tried to burn. This reconstruction will send a message to the settlers and their protectors that the Palestinian people will remain not matter what state the occupation is in.
It is the most potent weapon of a believer. Once Prophet Muhammad(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) passed by a people who were suffering from some affliction. "Why don't they make dua (pray ) to Allah for protection," he said. With all the suffering and disasters Muslims are facing in various parts of the world, the question can be directed to all of us today.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">It is not that we have forgotten dua completely; we refer to it regularly. But, our ideas and practice regarding dua have become distorted. Often it is reduced to the level of a ritual. Generally it is considered when all our efforts have failed --- an act of last resort. It is belittled through actions and sometimes even with words. Is it any wonder that today mostly a mention of dua is meant to indicate the hopelessness of a situation.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">What a tragedy, for dua is the most potent weapon of a believer. It can change fate, while no action of ours ever can. It is the essence of ibadah or worship. With it we can never fail; without it we can never succeed. In the proper scheme of things, dua should be the first and the last resort of the believer, with all his plans and actions coming in between.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Dua is conversation with Allah, out Creator, our Lord and Master, the All Knowing, the All Powerful. This act in itself is of extraordinary significance. It is the most uplifting, liberating, empowering, and transforming conversation a person can ever have. We turn to Him because we know that He alone can lift our sufferings and solve our problems. We feel relieved after describing our difficulties to our Creator. We feel empowered after having communicated with the AlMighty. We sense His mercy all around us after talking to the Most Merciful. We get a new commitment to follow His path for that is the only path for success. We feel blessed with each such commitment
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">In every difficulty our first action is dua, as is our last. We ask Allah to show us the way to handle that difficulty; we seek His help in following the path He shows to us; we seek His aid in making our efforts successful. When we fall sick, we know that we cannot find the right doctor without His Will; that the best doctor may not be able to diagnose our condition without His Command; that the best treatment plan will not succeed without His Permission. We make dua for all of these. We make dua before we seek medical help, while we are receiving it and after it has been delivered. The same is true of all other difficulties we may encounter.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Dua is the essence of ibadah. A person engaged in dua affirms his belief in Tawheed (monotheism) and shuns belief in all false gods. With each dua his belief in Allah grows. He beseeches Him, affirming his own powerlessness. A person seriously and sincerely engaged in dua understands exactly the relationship between himself and the Creator and affirms it through his actions. That is the essence of worship! Additionally, such a person can never become arrogant or proud, a logical result of true worship.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Dua is conversation with Allah … It is the most uplifting, liberating, empowering, and transforming conversation a person can ever have.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Dua is our most potent weapon in all struggles of life as well as in jihad in the battlefield. During the battle of Badr, the Prophet Muhammad(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) stood up all night in prayer seeking Allah's help in the battle between unequal armies that would follow the next day. In the decisive battles against the crusaders, Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi was busy day and night. His days were devoted to Jihad. His nights were spent making dua, crying, seeking Allah's help. This has been the practice of all true mujahideen.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">We should make it a point to make dua for all things big and small. It is the beginning of wisdom to realize that big and small are arbitrary labels that are totally irrelevant in this context. Nothing is too big for Whom we are asking from; nothing is too small for the one who is asking. That is why we have been taught to ask Allah when we need something as small as shoelaces. We should ask as a beggar, as a destitute person, for that is what we in reality are in relationship to Allah. At the same time we should ask with great hope and conviction that we shall be granted our prayers. We should remember the Hadith: "There is nothing more dear to Allah than a servant making dua to Him." On the other hand, a prayer lacking concentration and conviction is no prayer at all.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">We should make dua at all times, not only during times of distress. The Prophet Muhammad(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said: "Whosoever desires that Allah answers his duas in unfavorable and difficult conditions, he should make plentiful dua in days of ease and comfort." Also he said: "The person who does not ask from Allah, Allah becomes angry with him."
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">We should ask for all of our needs: those related to this world as well as those related to the Hereafter. Those who only concentrate on the former are, in effect, announcing that they don't care for their life in the permanent abode. They should blame no body but themselves for the total ruin in that world that Qur'an assures us awaits them. Those who only concentrate on the later are also showing lack of balance, for we need Allah's help to lead a good life here as well.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">We should make dua not only for ourselves but also for our parents, brothers and sisters, spouses and children, relatives and friends, teachers and other benefactors, and destitute and struggling Muslims everywhere. We should pray for them for the good in this world as well as in the Hereafter. The Prophet(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said: "The dua of a Muslim for his brother (in Islam) in his absence is readily accepted. An angel is appointed to his side. Whenever he makes a beneficial dua for his brother the appointed angel says, 'Aameen. And may you also be blessed with the same.'" [Sahih Muslim]
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">In the dark ages that we are living in today, everyday brings fresh news about atrocities committed against our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Kashmir, India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, and the list goes on. And what do we do? We can continue to just feel frustrated and depressed. We can petition the determined perpetrators or a fictional "International Community". We can just forget all this and move on to some other subject. Or we can stand up before Allah and pray for His help, who alone can help. The dua can change our life, our outlook, and our fate. It is the most potent weapon. But it works only for those who try sincerely and seriously to use it.

This is a beautiful verse, named by some of the salaf as "the verse of the test", as it tests how true one’s love of Allaah is. They explained that if one loves Allah, then he must show that in his/her following of the Prophet Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam). The verse tells us that those who follow the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) if sincere, can insha'Allah expect the following two:

<ul style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

Allah (ta`ala) loving them

Allah (ta`ala) forgiving their sins.

One of the ways to manifest our loving of Allah, by following the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) is to do those acts that he (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) advised his Companions, and the Ummah in general, to do. A sunnah which is certainly relevant to us in these days is his(salAllahu alayhi wasalam) practice to fast six days in the month of Shawwal.

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari narrated that Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said: "He who fasts Ramadan, and six of Shawwal, it will be (in terms of rewards) as if the fasted a whole year."
[Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ahmad, Ibn Majah]

So this is an established sunnah, which carries a great reward.

In commenting on the above mentioned hadith, As-San'ani said in Subul us-Salam: "If the thirty days of Ramadan fasting are assimilated with the six days of fasting in Shawwal, it altogether makes 36 days. According to Shari`ah, each virtue is rewarded ten times. Therefore, if we multiply 36 with 10, it makes 360, a number which equals the days of a year. Some scholars are of the opinion that these six days of fasting in Shawwal must be completed in a continuous order right after the end of Ramadan. Others believe that is enough to merely complete six days of fasting in Shawwal (in any order, either successive or with intervals), an opinion which is deemed to be correct." We may also fast on Mondays and Thursdays, as in that case we would be following another Sunnah: A’isha (radiAllahu anha) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) used to fast Mondays and Thursdays".
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Controversy is building up over a 91-year-old man, his 17-year-old grandson and a 20-year-old neighbour, all farmers, who were killed by Israeli shelling and gunfire as they tried to tend their land 700 metres from northern Gaza's border with Israel.

The narrative according to the Israeli and foreign media is one of "self- defence". During the last few weeks a number of crude missiles have been fired at the Jewish state by Gaza-based Palestinian fighters, causing little damage and no casualties or injuries.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed the three were "terrorists" trying to shoot rockets at southern Israel. Israel has declared a 300-metre "security zone" within Gaza and next to the Israeli border, no-man's land. This buffer area is where some of Gaza's most fertile land is situated. The Gaza strip is approximately 40 km long and eight km wide, and home to 1.5 million.
The exclusion zone has been strictly enforced by the IDF since the takeover of the coastal territory by the Islamic movement Hamas in 2007.Since the blockade a number of Gazan farmers and shepherds have been killed by the IDF as they tried to farm their land and attend to their livestock. More have been injured and maimed. Some of the deaths and injuries took place outside of the buffer zone.
Controversy has been raging on the Internet between Palestinians and their supporters and supporters of Israel, over the way events were presented by the mainstream media.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">
Despite U.S. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">efforts, Arab nations said in a statement to the IAEA's governing board <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">that they would urge member states to vote in favor of the non-binding
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">resolution which also calls on Israel to open up all its nuclear sites to <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">agency inspections.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">They won narrow backing for a similar resolution at last year's assembly <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">meeting of the 151-nation IAEA, but the United States has lobbied hard to <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">avoid a repeat of what it calls a divisive measure this year.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">The 2009 resolution called on IAEA chief Amano to prepare a report on how <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">to implement its objectives. In a statement made available to reporters, <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Arab countries said Amano's report last month inviting Israel to consider <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">joining the nuclear NPT was "weak and disappointing, devoid of any <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">substance and not up to the typical level of the Agency's reporting..."

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">"The report neither contained an assessment [of] the Israeli nuclear <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">capabilities, nor did the Agency try to obtain any information about these <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">capabilities, especially concerning a military dimension...," it continued.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">The United States says that zeroing in on Israel - widely believed to be <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">the region's only nuclear power, could jeopardize an Egyptian-proposed <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">conference in 2012 to discuss creating a Middle East free of weapons of <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">mass destruction.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">It also says it would send a negative signal to re-launched, U.S.-backed <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">peace talks between Israeli and Palestinian leaders.
